I am Barbara Rucci and creative projects have always filled my life. My mom taught me how to sew on an old Singer hand crank when I was six years old. I would sew all day, making anything I could with my small square pieces of fabric. Patchworking became second nature to me.

When I was eight years old, I stumbled upon another passion...office supplies! I was lured by the smell of the copier and the feel of the fresh paper in my hands. It's no wonder I have been a graphic designer for the past 13 years, running b.rucci paper out of my home.

Recently, I have gone back to my roots and started to patchwork again. In the summer of 2008 I was, once again, putting my son's outgrown clothes into yet another box that would be stacked in the basement.
